When it Comes to Foreign Languages, Don't Panic... Google Translate

I know people all over the world, and for the most part, they speak English. Occasionally, however, I get email from someone who speaks a foreign language. This is great because it definitely takes me outside of my comfort zone. I took 3 years of Spanish in High School, but even with that, I know and understand very little Spanish.

Rather than panicking when you get email from someone using a foreign language, celebrate it while embracing our truly international world. Google makes this easy with a free online translator.

When you're ready to translate a foreign language into your native language, simply copy the foreign text, head over to translate.google.com, then paste it into the appropriate field. After clicking "Search", the result will be translated text in your native language of choice.

Not only is this a practical tool, but it can be fun too! Try sending a short message to someone using a different language, and I'll bet you get an interesting response back. Wouldn't it be fun if they also knew about this free online tool and replied back in yet another language? Think of how fun that multilingual conversation could be.

Die Möglichkeiten sind grenzenlos!
